It's like having two sets of parents.

This is with regards to well, dating someone. Unless of course that person has parents that really don't care what their kid does, but generally the guys I date do not have those kinds of parents. Good and bad, mostly good of course. First of all, the relationship is long distance. Second of all, we are both going on missions and so they want him to focus on his mission and they are worried he is too focused on me so don't want him to come and visit because they feel it is only attaching him more and blurring him more from the focused point they want him to be in. It'sssssssss really annoying, not that they want him to be focused, but just having like two sets of parents. One set punishes me, they are punishing him too, then the other set punishes him and it's punishing me as well. My frustration is more than I can say. The parents haven't met me, and I feel extremely judged. I supposed I will write more about this later one when I can actually gather my thoughts. Also along the two sets of parents thing is that parents don't like to budge because they have been independent for so long....so two sets of parents really don't want to budge and it makes it almost impossible to simply schedule one trip. -_- So the main point for today is that having two sets of parents, can be really quite frustrating.

Well we taught Relief Society

And it went rather well. I would just like to testify of the fact that personal stories are the BEST for Sunday lessons. It is a good thing I had a lot of them to share, so if you don't have any motivation to do anything outgoing, just think about it being a really great story one of these days, and that you will  be able to share it in a lesson one day. Also, on the topic of Relief Society, why is it called that? I feel like people should enter the room and everyone should be in massage chairs, or if you look at it in a different light we should all be suited up to save lives. Which I guess you could draw a huge parallel between the church and saving lives, but anyhow I just wonder how that name came to be. I feel old saying Relief Society because that was always what people older than me were in, now that I am in it, it's kind of like "Oh no! Old is upon us!" aha. Well that's all for today.

The Reunion

Well, we went to a Whiting reunion recently. It was a lot of fun and they had little things set up for us to do, so I thought I should post some pictures of them. :D

My sister and I in the "school" writing our names with quills and ink.

This is me using lye soap made by my great,
great, great grandmother, to clean a dirty rag on a washboard.
Me, with our piece of log we sawed off.
 The log and the saw.
Me with my cousin Mckenzie, at family dancing. :P
My sister and me holding our piece of log with our time of 5:23 on it, which is not a very good time, but we did it so it's better than not doing the activity at all. :P

Now

I tried to post something last time, but unfortunately it did not work.]
-Now, school is almost over.
-Now, grades mean a ton (well they always did, but they get more nervwracking at the end)
-Now, I am almost a Junior.
-Now, I am incredibly excited for summer, just to be out of school. (there's other reasons, but right NOW is what i am talking about.)
-Now, now, now, now (say it enough times it sounds funny)
